Gaku Yamada,was born in Hiroshima,Japan. He studied guitar with Bunken Nagano,Masakazu Tokutake, Norio Sato and Elena Casoli.Also he performed in master classes with Oscar Ghiglia, Shinichi Fukuda,David Russell and more. In addition he studied early music analyzing with Massimo Lonardi. He started his career as soloist and chamber music player when he was teenage.Gaku was awarded the 2nd prize as soloist and 1st prize as duettist of 30th Japan Guitar Competition(Japan),and the 2nd prize of Gargnano International Guitar Competition(Italy), the 3rd prize of Berlin International Guitar Competition(Germany).
